Elderly Wisconsin barber has been enjoying life without a telephone for more than 50 years.

Kenosha, WI -- Can you imagine life without a phone? Don't try complaining about any missed calls or telemarketers to Wisconsin barber Al Gallo. He doesn't have a phone. The 80-year-old barber says he's raised seven kids just fine without a phone. He won't have one in his barber shop, either. His father built the Kenosha shop without a phone and Gallo has kept it that way for more than 50 years. He is making one small concession to modern telecommunications. Gallo now has a cell phone, but says only his wife has the number.
